My name is Lerato Sabasaba. The love of creating organic hair products started when I lost my hair in 2015. My hair became very thin and started developing bald patches in most areas on my head. I got worried when I told my Dr about this issue, she said it might be imbalanced hormones so she put me on treatment for few months. But this didn’t help my hair became thinner and thinner.
I couldn’t say yes and just give up without a fight. I had to do my own research and yes my hair was thinning because of iron deficit which caused imbalance hormones, which then attacked hair follicles and cause bald patches. This is called Alopecia Areata. I started mixing in my kitchen, oils, butters and blending vegetables and fruits to help speed up the process. Today I am proud to say my hair was restored.
Now that I’ve joined Maya school of Organic formulation, I am so happy that I can professionally formulate organic hair products to help other people who are struggling with the same problem I’ve experienced. And I must say I’m a proud owner of Latore Boutique – The Natural hair salon striving to help more women to restore their hairline and keep their hair healthy with volume.
